Sorry to say its more selfishness then anything else. The death of the birds does not keep me up at night. Anytime I travel on business I have to put up with peers making fun of me because of crap like this. I don't think these people realize that this is the face they put on Louisiana. It is pretty bad when you start telling people you are from Mississippi because you think they might have some more respect for you.
